Monero Docs points at #monero-site:monero.social, same as Monero Website. AFAIK Docs has its own room: #monero-docs:monero.social

Conversations sometimes run across several rooms at once, and I've not found a reliable way to pull everything one person said across all of them. Element's search is per-room, monerologs is greppable but only covers some rooms. Is there something better, or is per-room the state of the art?

Docs link fixed, thanks!

and yeah, no built-in cross-room search, but exporting the rooms and using them as context should work imo

That manual method is kind of a lot of work.

I find the signal/noise ratio of rooms to be whacked, and therefore following them is an unpleasant chore. Thoughts? Are you able to stand this and follow them? The recent Monerokon drama was absolute flung poo flying all over the room, for example.

hmm, a lot of work? you mean tokens? cos other than that I’m not sure what the work even is 😄

...and I’ve heard about the Monerokon drama, but I completely missed the whole thing (not even sure I missed anything lol)))

"Exporting the rooms" is. Fair, you don't have the context, you don't know what a UX princess I am.

You're better off not knowing about the Monerokon drama. I came out the other side disliking some "community members" bc I saw how they "argue": ad hominems, poisoning the well, appeals to private evidence nobody can check. And why even bother, when you or someone else posts the important parts anyway. Which was the question, how you follow/sift the important parts given all the other talk happening in the rooms. Perhaps you do llm stuff as you suggested.
